Tym Stark’s Non-Residential Care - Day 91
Day 91 - Friday 12/21/07
Steph and Dwight compete in their first ever Dachshund Race
Last weekend we went to cheer on Dwight (Steph’s wiener dog) in the Old World Dachshund Races.

Dwight did very well for his first time racing, and the whole family had a great time. The weekend was packed with Christmas Parties, shopping, wrapping, etc. I’m sure you all are doing the same things.
Tym is continuing rehab in the St Jude CRC. He likes the activities alright. Last Wednesday they got to go bowling, and Tym came home to brag that he beat everybody there. He bowled around a 150, but I didn’t tell him that’s only 1/2 the possible score. Tym is continuing his Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy as well as working on the computer doing email, driving simulation, and games. He still can’t wait to go home (Santa Maria) and to get to drive again.
Thank you for calling and always thinking of Tym during the holidays. He has a very large family at home as well as church. We are very busy, but enjoy every time we can be a part of your celebrations. Thanks for the invites, calls, prayers, and warm wishes. Have a Merry Christmas!

Tym, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas. I know it will be nice to be home for the holidays with your family. Take good care of yourself.
The temp hit a low of 29 degrees yesterday and I have to say it was cold!
So have a wonderful Holiday and dont overdose on football and turkey.

Merry Christmas, Tym and family!! We hope that you have a great time with your family. We will be thinking of you. The dog races looked so fun! Maybe we’ll go next year. It sounds like you have had a busy month. God bless you as you celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior!

Tym,
Jim could have used your help replacing a light bulb on our porch today. It wasn’t that simple. It was a little disaster! Jim said, “I need TYM!”

I just dropped in to say Merry Christmas to Tym and all his family!

Tym, I was so glad you, Becca, Steph, and others were able to come over for Christmas Eve. You look great! I am so pleased you are making such a rapid recovery. Just call if you need anything - Jim & I are a hop, skip, and a jump away from Garden Grove.

Tym, I am pleased to see that you are making steady progress even though I know you’re impatient. My father had a stroke a while ago and I know how frustrated he gets about how slow the recovery process works. Hang in there; the worst is behind you and you sure have a lot of folks pulling for you.
Best wishes for a great new year.
