Tym’s Recovery - Day 184

Day 184 - Sunday 03/23/08

Last Sunday we participated in the annual Coastline ABI walk for Brain Injury Awareness. There were many people walking for the cause, and it was a perfect day in the park. Unfortunately I had to travel on business shortly after, and just now have the chance to make the update. I’ve been trying to get my Dad to make some posts on the blog, because he’s doing much better (as always :) ) but you should encourage him if you want to hear about his views.

The finish and then lunch with Steph

Our sister/daughter Stephanie wanted to walk with us, but she had to work. Luckily, we got to meet her for lunch right afterwards. The ABI Walk is a great event, and it is really easy to do. If there’s enough interest, we can get a team together next year and walk and/or raise money for the event. This year it just came up on us too fast to get everyone involved. Hope you all are doing well. Happy Easter!

    Thanks so much for the update! It was good to see you all being a part of such a great cause. I was just thinking of how far you’ve come, Tym, since the marathon/injury. God has blessed you incredibly, brother! I especially loved the picture of you doing the one handed frisbee catch while holding water and coffee.
    We’d love to hear some updates from YOU, Tym, and get some of your perspective on things.
    We’re still praying for you, for a complete recovery. See you in FBF!
    Joyfully,
    Debra (and Keith) Vaughn

    Tym;

    I recently became the Account Mgr. for Compel at Aerospace Corp. in El Segundo. I was meeting with Harry Olek and asked how you were doing as I had heard you had moved to the Santa Maria Area. Harry gave me a rundown and suggested I check ou the “Stark Family Website”.
    I’m encouraged to see your always smiling face and hope you continue to improve. It looks like you have a wonderful family and I wish you all the best. I hope to see you again one of these days. I always enjoyed working with you at Aerospace- El Segundo.

    Best Always,

    Eric Seelig

    Hello Tym,

    Good Luck to your driving test. We know that you’ll Ace it. Gabby is going to have her Junior Black Belt Test today. She is very excited, she has waited almost 3 years for this day. We will be taking pictures and video so you can see it, too. We hope to see you soon.

    Love,
    Red, Nathan, Natalie, & Gabby
